Hardware Requirements
Minimum Hardware requirements for
the KeVAT software package is as under :-
- PC/AT - 286 or higher. (a 486
machine is recommended for speedy operation).
- 640 MB of Main Memory (4 MB is
recommended with the use of HIMEM and SMARTDRV).
- A Hard Disk Drive (1 GB is
recommended).
- Either 1.2 MB (5-1/4") or 1.44
MB (3-1/2") Floppy drive.
- 80 Column or 132 column dot matrix
printer.
Software Requirement
Minimum software required for
running the KeVAT software package is as under :-
- MS DOS version 5.0 or above.
- Follwing option softwares may
require for the efficient working of the package.
- Compression software PKZIP.EXE and
PKUNZIP.EXE (Dos Based).
- Extended memory management softwares
line HIMEM.SYS, EMM386.EXE etc.
- Background printing Program such as
PRINT.EXE that comes with MS-DOS operating system.
